Google has trademarked a new operating system called Pigweed

For years we have stay informed that Google has been working on a new operating system called Fuchsia OS instead of Android and Chrome OS, but there is not much information about it yet. However, it has now been discovered that Google has registered a trademark on a new operating system called Pigweed in the United States.

The new list is shared by an account on Reddit, which has been proven to be certified by the FCC through the USPTO (US Patent and Trademark Office) for the file "Pigweed". While reviewing the list, Google has asked for a trademark called Pigweed as a computer operating system. Other than its name, it doesn't seem to indicate anything else through the listing. If we type Pigweed on Google, it will show a plant called Amaranth, but sadly it has nothing to do with software. Besides, it is suspected that Pigweed is only part of the development of Fuchsia OS.
